NY Death Metal institution Immolation begins a new chapter with Acts Of God, their 11th full-length studio album and fourth for Nuclear Blast, and Decibel is proud to announce our own exclusive analog edition on ungodly Gray cassettes. Limited to just 100 copies in this ashen headshell variant, these tapes make the perfect pairing to our recent Immolation box-set, which collected their first 3 infernal full-lengths with the label.

Acts of God features hauntingly beautiful new cover art from Berlin-based artist and illustrator Eliran Kantor (Testament, Helloween). “It’s unnerving,” says Immo mastermind and guitarist Robert Vigna. “It really reflects the music perfectly.” Our Decibel edition cassette features a 5-panel fold-out insert for maximum artistic immersion.

Recording duties here were helmed by longtime Immolation friend and collaborator Paul Orofino of Millbrook Studios (Millbrook, NY) with final touches by Zach Ohren of Castle Ultimate studios. A mere 92 copies of this analog variant are being made available to the public, so true Immo apostles should act quickly, lest you be met with cruelty!
