Decibel Metal & Beer Fest Philly 2019
Get hopped in half on Saturday and Sunday, April 13-14, 2019, as Decibel brings the loudest, heaviest, two-day craft beer festival in the world back to The Fillmore Philadelphia for a third round!
The Tom Gabriel Fischer-led Triptykon will headline Sunday, while progressive metallers Baroness will close out Saturday night. In between, experience post-black metal rising stars Deafheaven, watch death metal legends Obituary will perform an exclusive set of their classic Cause of Death album in its entirety, while Norwegian black metal heroes Enslaved will unearth their Viking metal landmark Frost record in full as well. Resurrected thrashers Exhorder will make their first Philadelphia appearance in 27 years.
U.S. black metal horde UADA, post-black metal powerhouse Tombs, old-school death/thrash godsDeceased, post-metal progenitors Rosetta, death metal upstarts Tomb Mold, Canadian grind crushers Wake, psychedelic doom trio Heavy Temple and death/doom new jacks Outer Heaven round out a stacked bill.
In addition to presenting brewery Broken Goblet (PA), and featured breweries Stoudts Brewing Company (PA) and 2SP (PA), the world’s most metal breweries have been selected to pour at the event. Three Floyds (IN), Burial (NC), Weyerbacher (PA), Adroit Theory (VA), Atlas (DC), Wake (IL), Burnt Hickory (GA), Hoof Hearted Brewing (OH), Brimming Horn Meadery (DE), TRVE (CO), Ardent Craft Ales(VA), Metal Monkey Brewing (IL), Oliver Brewing Co (MD), Against the Grain (KY), Kings County Brewers Collective (NY) and Birds Fly South Ale Project (SC) all will join us for an unforgettable weekend of suds and thuds.
