The highly-anticipated debut record from Texas death revelers Malignant Altar is finally available for pre-order on wax, and Decibel is excited to offer our own hyper-limited variant on bone-rattling white vinyl. First emerging early last-month as a Decibel full-album stream, Realms of Exquisite Morbidity sees the Houston harbingers churning out a six-pack of low-tuned putrefaction, anchored-in-muck by the title track, a “suitably spectral interluding instrumental.”

Limited to a scarce 198 copies on white vinyl, with only a mere 100 being made available in the U.S. via the Decibel store, this recherché recording comes packaged with printed inner sleeve, digital download card, and acerbic cover art from Lucas Korte (Shoggoth Kinetics). The album was once again recorded and mixed by drummer Dobber Beverly (Oceans of Slumber), with the auspicious Arthur Rizk on mastering duties.

With copies of their demo tapes already fetching preposterous prices, we highly advise immediate ownership of this emblem of brutality, lest you descend into a waking nightmare of regret and loathing.  Album originally released 12/10/2021 via Dark Descent, vinyl copies shipping very early 2022.
